According to Nicole, I left out the best part of the lockdown story. Some of the kids were getting scared because they've seen police activity before. I have the CUTEST little girl in my class who wanted to help. She said, "Ms. Brown, since I'm Alicia Keys, should I sing to make the children feel better?" How could I refuse that offer?
